It’s Monday, so just going to make this a #MotivationMonday post. πŸ˜‰ I got this book a few months ago, and there’s many funny and inspirational quotes in it. I noticed a lot are actually by writers/poets. πŸ™‚

Here are some of my favorites. Hope you enjoy them and hope they can liven your day (and week) up! πŸ™‚ Or at least see things from a new perspective. πŸ™‚

Starting with my #1 favorite:
“The greater the difficulty, the greater the glory.” – Marcus Tullius Cicero

“If you are going through hell, keep going.” – Winston Churchill

“People have to really suffer before they can risk doing what they love.” – Chuck Palahniuk

“What’s done is done.” – William Shakespeare

“Without some goal and some effort to reach it, no one can live.” – Fyodor Dostoyevsky

“Sometimes you just have to pee in the sink.” – Charles Bukowski

“You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.” – Walt Disney

“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.” – Robert Frost

“I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable… but through it all I still know… to be alive is a grand thing.” – Agatha Christie

“When it is darkest, men see the stars.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“This life is not for complaint, but for satisfaction.” – Henry David Thoreau

“Turn difficulties into learning opportunities.” – Albert Einstein

“If you are irritated by every rub, how will your mirror be polished?” – Rumi

“Always forgive your enemies: nothing annoys them as much.” – Oscar Wilde
